Messiah Lutheran Preschool

In 1983, Messiah established its preschool in response to the need of quality childcare for the working parent and to share the congregation’s faith in Jesus with the community.

Presently we serve 35-40 families in our half-day and full-day programs. A Pre-K program was added in 1986 in order to assist 4 and 5 year olds in preparing for Kindergarten. 

Children are unique beings with their own individual ways of learning. We provide natural materials and a well prepared, responsive environment for a child’s own experimentation, self-direction, and self-expression. It is our desire that children establish healthy self-concepts and social skills so they are equipped for future learning.

 

A combination of programs are offered:

2, 3 or 5 day AM Preschool

2, 3 or 5 day AM Pre-K

Our facility is licensed for 24 children at a time, ages 2 ½ through 5 years. At all times we maintain a child/teacher ratio of 8 to 1.
